Made by Thomas W. Hewitt, a well regarded London chronometer maker to the British Admiralty. About 1840. A slightly smaller face, typical for chronometers made prior to 1850. Silvered dial and bezil, blued steel hands and in the original mahogany three part box. Original key.
The clock has been serviced and the rate adjusted.
