A pair of Neopolitan hand-carved electric night lights depicting Aurora, Goddess of Dawn in Greeco-Roman mythology. (Eos in Greek mythology). One lamp carved with the image of Aurora driving her chariot through the dawn sky, the other shows her in repose with her harp overlooking the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. Both lights sit on matching, gilded metal stands cast in the likeness of the Valkyrie, maiden worriers who rode into battle with Odin.
